I am an adventurer, thinker, believer and sociophile. I work as head of international corporate development for a large Chinese conglomerate affiliated with Peking University and also have my own financial advisory practice. Before joining this company, I was studying at Tsinghua University in Beijing and graduated from the Tsinghua, School of Economics and Management - MIT, Sloan School of Management MBA program. My wife and I founded MZ Public Affairs, a PR and marketing consulting firm five years ago.

We have lived in China, based in Beijing, for four years. During this time, I've also had the chance to work on two interesting projects with Pacific Resources International and Polaris Securities.

In Weihai, spring 2011, I did a project management internship with Pacific Resources International, a Beijing-based manufacturing investment and operations consulting company. In summer 2010, I interned at Polaris Securities (HK) in the sales and trading division, providing research and analysis on the firm's debt products.

Before moving to China, I was the development associate for the Philanthropy Roundtable, an association of more than 600 donors with $10 billion a year in giving. I also worked at the US Department of Labor as a special assistant to then Secretary of Labor Elaine Chow and also to the chief of staff.

Noel and I love traveling, and have visited 29 countries in the past three years. Our favorites are Norway, Slovakia, Cambodia and Hong Kong
